| | Tóm tắt/chú giải | The research has three purpose: Fist, giving an overview of the sharing economy and its current status in Vietnam market; Second, analyzingthe market access for fogeign investors providing ride-hailing service in Vietnam; Third, anayzing some regulatory issues arising from the operation of fogeign investors providing ride-hailing service in Vietnam (tax and employment issues) and providing some recommendations basedon the approach of the UK. Despite the fact that there there are numerous regulatory challenges posed by the operation of foreign investors providing ride-hailing service in Vietnam, due to the limitation of time and resources, this thesis only focuses on the two most contentious issues, which are tax and employment. Although accommodation sharing and P2P lending are mentioned in Chapter 1 as componnents of the sharing economy in Vietnam, they are beyond the scope of this thesis
